For most guests, the highlight of a visit to Discovery Cove will be the rare opportunity to swim and play with a beautiful bottlenose dolphin. The dolphin-swim experience begins with a brief orientation, after which 6-8 guests and a trainer wade into shallow water for their introduction to a dolphin.

Guests learn about dolphins’ behavior, get to know the animals and discover how Discovery Cove’s trainers use hand signals and positive reinforcement to communicate with them. Taking the relationship one step further, guests swim and play with the dolphins. Other Discovery Cove attractions allow guests to safely experience the marine world and its amazing animals.

New in 2006, from the moment you arrive at Discovery Cove, everything is ready and waiting for you. Everything is included in your admission -- all of your snacks and beverages throughout the day, including a continental breakfast, sumptuous lunch and various Anheuser-Busch products, as well as wetsuits, snorkels, towels, lounge chairs, and sunscreen.
